Narrative
In the eternal city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family experience love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny
This is the most expensive project ever made by Netflix in Latin America, with the participation of Colombian groups and indigenous communities who construct the series’ props and scenery. One Hundred Years of Isolation 🌿Story: The series, based on the famous novel by Gabriel García Márquez of the same name, revolves around "José Arcadio Buendía" and "Ursula Iguaran", two relatives who leave their village in search of a new home after marrying against their parents’ wishes.
at the beginning of the first episode it was clear that I was embarking on an impressive work that actually exceeded my expectations
Accompanied by friends and adventurers, their journey culminates in the creation of a virtuous city on the banks of the prehistoric stone river Macondo. Many generations of the Buendía dynasty will determine the future of this legendary city, tormented by madness, impossible love, absurd bloody war and the fear of a terrible curse that will reign without hope for a hundred years of isolation.
And each episode thrilled me to see the next one
The sequence of events is amazing, orderly and calm, and its clarity of every detail and bias, and it gave me a beautiful feeling. Everything is perfect, the performances, sounds and atmosphere are consistent and wonderful..
